For the engineer in you — how it actually works
- The cameras: IP PoE to the ONVIF standard — one cable for picture and power, recording locally on an NVR in your own house. Your footage doesn't get shipped off to somebody's cloud abroad.
- Analytics on the camera: person/vehicle/animal detection — so your alerts are about people, not every cat that crossed the wall.
- The intercom: standard SIP — rings on the house screens and your phone together, and pairs with the lock: see, speak, open.
- Protection wired into the house: the leak sensor doesn't stop at an alert — it closes the main water valve through a KNX actuator. And smoke turns the exit-path lighting to 100% on its own.
