- The design: a site survey and heat map before installation — the number and placement of points by measurement. Ceiling-mounted Wi-Fi 6/6E PoE access points with smooth roaming (802.11k/v/r) — your call doesn't drop as you walk between floors.
- The isolation: separate VLANs: your devices, the smart-home devices, the cameras, and the guests — a compromised camera (God forbid) can't reach your laptop.
- The cabling: CAT6A for the core points with fibre paths ready — the backbone takes the next ten years of upgrades without breaking a wall.
- The cabinet: a tidy rack with every cable labelled, UPS-protected power for the router and cameras — security and connectivity run for hours after the power goes.
