Smart film

The glass of your home office is clear, showing you the kids at play — and one touch turns it opaque for your meeting. The women's majlis façade onto the courtyard? Instant privacy the moment it's needed, light and openness the rest of the day. No curtain, no permanent wall.

The options

PDLC film fitted to your existing glass, or smart glass laminated in for new projects.

On existing glass

Professional adhesive film on your current glass — one working day for most façades.

Laminated glass

The film inside the glass layers themselves — for new doors and partitions.

Projection screen

The opaque state makes an excellent projector screen — an instant meeting room.

For the engineer in you — how it actually works
  • The physics: liquid crystals (PDLC) dispersed in a polymer layer — with no power the crystals scatter and the glass goes opaque; a small voltage lines them up and it turns clear.
  • The consumption: under 5W/m² in the clear state, zero when opaque — and opaque is the fail-safe default, so privacy holds through a power cut.
  • Extra protection: blocks over 90% of UV — guarding the furniture even in the clear state.
  • The control: from a switch, a phone, or a scene — "meeting" dims the glass and sets the lighting in one move.
